Position: Executive, Sales (Polyurethanes Division)

Company: BASF Polyurethane Specialties (China) Company Ltd.

Working Location: Qing Dao
Responsibilities:

• Promote PU as a preferable material for insulation;
• Explore business options in Sandwich Panel, Spray insulation, Block Foam, Per insulated pipe, roof, outer wall insulation..;
• Develop and maintain direct relationship with key construction customers, developer, government authorities, design institutions...;
• Support customer to bid for project;
• Support technical seminar and exhibition;
• Pursue aggressive growth targets by promoting company brand and developing new business opportunities

Job Requirements:

• University degree or above in architect, building study, chemistry or other related subjects;
• Over 2-5 years sales and marketing experience in dealing with construction material business. Preferable to have good knowledge in PU, XPS, EIFS, EPS or other insulation related material...though it is not mandatory for the position; applicant with lesser experience would consider at senior executive.
  
• Good contact with project owners, developers, design institution, architects, Government ...and able to do follow up with them until project finalization;
• Good experience in preparing of bidding - project base - documents;
• Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin

Key Responsibilities

•    Identify new business opportunities and penetrate into new markets/customers in north-west areas
•    Provide technical service to customers, conduct trials; resolve technical problems and product complaints in order to assist in customer’s product development and suggest use of Huntsman’s products in order to increase sales
•    Foster good relationship with the local trader and customers through technical support, business support in order to better understand customers and their needs and secure sales
•    Deliver agreed sales target for designated products, increase Huntsman market share in target market segments and territories
•    Monitor market developments, collect data and information on competitors’ movements
•    Regular sales planning report, customer visit report, market update report

Requirements:

•    Bachelor degree or above in chemistry is must
•    Basic PU knowledge
•    At least 2 years sales and technical service Experience in Chemical industry, PU experience is plus
•    Highly self-motivated, Working independently
•    Good command of PC skills
•    Good command of English, in both speaking and writing
